Sweetfest is Melbourne’s brand new two-day festival celebrating all things baked, fried, whipped, iced and colourful, running from November 28 to 29 at the Meat Market in North Melbourne as part of The Age Good Food Month presented by Citi.
The giant sweet marketplace gives sugar fans access to some of Victoria’s, Australia’s and the world’s leading producers of pastries and desserts, some of whom will also be taking to the demo stage to show off some tricks. The superstar stalls include Luxbite, Bibelot, Ganache Chocolates and Gelato Messina who will be selling creations inspired by the festival’s headline guests: the duo behind New York’s Big Gay Ice Cream.
