VIP Lunch at Burger Business
The World Loves Melbourne was excited to be invited to the VIP lunch at Burger Business in Footscray. Opening in January this year Burger Business has quickly established itself as having some of the best burgers in Melbourne. A highly recommended burger destination in a precinct of burger choices. This place delivers burger excellence!
Burger Business prepares the fresh cuts of meat early in the morning, then grill them to perfection. How we like it! Their sauces are made daily using the freshest ingredient in their kitchen and their buns are freshly baked daily and delivered by a local artisan baker. So you can enjoy a great tasting burger knowing it is prepared daily just for you right in front of your eyes. When you get the foundations right you can build burgers of excellence. A splash of yellow cast against a background of matte black makes for a vibrant back drop for diners. While the exposed red brick and timber décor creates a casual, rustic style for those milling outside in a courtyard.
Among generous offerings on the menu is the Bacon Feast burger with premium grilled beef patty made in house, topped with smoked bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, aioli and ketchup, or the Spicy Fiesta for the brave, with pan-cooked free range chicken schnitzel drizzled in herbed mayonnaise with jalapenos, lettuce, Spanish onion and chilli sauce. These are burgers with a whole lot of flavour, savvy and balance!
The main event however was ‘The Magnum’ - triple beef, triple cheese, schnitzel, smoked bacon, mustard, ketchup and jalapeno. Served with chilli salt fries and spicy Cajun nuggets. If you end up finishing this burger you deserve a badge of honour! This is what burger lovers are wanting - large in your face quality burgers! Juicy patty bliss, big cheese hit, the welcome addition of schnitzel, smoky bacon full flavour, and some "kick" in the finish with mustard, ketchup and jalapeno. Yeah!
To accompany your burger they have some mourish sides such as spicy Cajun nuggets, sweet potato fries, bacon cheese fries and our favourite the Mexican chilli beef fries. You won't leave here hungry, that's for sure. With a range of choices there's something here for everyone. Or in our case - so many compelling offerings!
For those sweet tooths out there, the milkshakes are pretty insane. They stack high and taste even better than they look. Our favourites were the nutella and salted caramel & peanut. So freakin good!
