Celebrating 10th Anniversary of Nobu Restaurant at Crown
It was a privilege to step into the contemporary, stylish surroundings of Nobu - one of Melbourne’s best restaurants - to celebrate the 10th anniversary of this icon. It was a joy to experience the creative flavours showcased by head chef Sean Tan and his talented team and to imbibe Veuve Clicquot during the salubrious evening.
Guests including several celebrities enjoyed the wide range of superb cocktails, sake and wine from the bar, overlooking stunning river views.
A first class reception for a top notch restaurant, one we've had the privilege to dine at in the past. Check out the intimate sushi bar and riverside lounge! It's an intimate experience at Nobu with one of the best vibes (even romantic) in Melbourne. And who can forget the fresh sashimi and awesome bento box experiences? When visiting Nobu you will often see a celeb in the restaurant, as we have done a couple of times.
As the Veuve Clicquot was flowing the DJ added to the action.
An array of small dishes and canapes featured the memorable tastes of Nobu, including the famous Black Cod Miso. There was also some Wagyu action.
Stations of food with chef on hand complemented the generous amount of high class food being offered to guests by wait staff.
Veuve Cliquot is a champagne of choice for The World Loves Melbourne.
Entertainment for guests was a feature.
Nobu restaurants continue with unprecedented praise and rave reviews from such notable publications as the New York Times, the Zagat Surveys, and the Michelin Guide.
The restaurants' perennial popularity and devoted following are a tribute to the personal spin that Nobu has put on traditional Japanese cooking. The popular restaurant opened in 2007 with Hollywood legend Robert De Niro and other partners, along with chef Nobu Matsuhisa. Congrats on 10 great years and cheers for the future!
