Tuck's Ridge has swept all before it to become one of the standout winery experiences on the Mornington Penisula. Developed by the team behind the award-winning Montalto Estate, owners John and Wendy Mitchell have created a playful, contemporary winery experience that reflects the attitudes and pleasures of the new generation of wine lovers. The World Loves Melbourne was invited along to experience all that is Tuck's Ridge and we were highly impressed.

We were given a fabulous wine tasting in their modern facility (check out the "NOW" range) and then handed a Tuck's Box to sip on four tasty wines with some helpful and interesting notes for a self-guided tour of wine discovery. This is a serious wine destination with a wide range and exceptional quality - and of course the wines are exclusive to cellar door. So you need to come along for a visit!
We have to mention the exceptional service at Tuck's Ridge straight up - kudos to Chantelle for service and upbeat expertise in our tasting experience. And also to Elia for his exceptional customer service in the restaurant. Some of the best customer service at a winery we've ever experienced.
Tuck's Box. Innovative and compelling.
Tuck's Ridge food is fresh and casual, centred upon an outdoor rotisserie - including slow roast porchetta with crackling and apple and Szechuan sauce, or hot smoked salmon with herb creme fraiche - while snacks - among them estate olives or charred corn with parmesan sauce - salads and sweets complement the relaxed vibe.
Perfect in any season. On this day we enjoyed the winter sun. Magical.

Hot smoked salmon with coriander relish was a highlight. This could be your new favourite thing. Rotisserie dishes are outstanding. Burst of flavour and juicy bliss.
A highlight is the salad from the garden! Salt baked beetroots, red cabbage, rocket, feta and pomegranate.
Tough job to nominate the best dish. After savouring the salmon we were highly impressed by the Charcoal half chicken with skordalia and herb butter. How chicken should be! The mash is something else.
Feasting at Tuck's Ridge is a pleasure you deserve.

Dessert menu is also top notch here. A selection of cheeses looked appealing but we went for the Dark chocolate and olive oil mousse, poached pear and pistachio sponge. Indulgent and rewarding.
A highly successful pop up which launched last Boxing Day, Tucks Ridge has been packed on weekends ever since, and also does extremely well during the week.
Their signature dishes are ones for the punters from the rotisseries. For a wallet-friendly $25pp guests can Tuck In - pick a dish from the rotisserie, choose a salad and we'll add a hunk of estate bread. Vego? Pick three salads instead. No worries.
Patrons can find their favourite spot overlooking the rolling green vineyard hills; sit inside in cool comfort or mingle on the shaded terrace (they've put in solid roofing and heaters for winter) at communal tables, low slung stools dot the verdant lawn and there are picnic blankets as well.
