The Prosecco Festival is Back!
The Prosecco Festival is back! Returning to the Northcote Town Arts Centre on Feb 23! This is a popular unique festival purely dedicated to Prosecco with 40 Proseccos on tasting as well as compelling food offerings to pair. After the inaugural Prosecco Festival last year, which was a smash it, the festival returns even bigger and brighter!
Meet growers, winemakers and importers, and taste some of the best Prosecco available in Australia today. You can grab your ticket from Eventbrite at the floowing link.
This unique event brings together Italian and local Prosecco producers, as well as a Spritz Bar, wines by the glass, information on food matches and great tunes to get you in the mood. We think The Prosecco Festival is a joyous event and one of the best festivals in Melbourne.
The outdoor piazza will be host to an array of delicious Italian food - pizza, pasta, arancini, antipasto and cheese platters, gelato, cannoli and more!
Each ticket includes a beautiful Plumm teardrop tasting glass, that's yours to keep, a Festival program and a tote bag which holds up to 2 bottles of wine for take-home purchases, and tastings of over 40 different Proseccos. (I have one of these Plumm glasses at home and its a winner).
Due to licensing restrictions this is an adults only event - children under 18 cannot be accommodated at any time.
2 session times are available : 11am-3pm and 4pm-8pm
This year they are also adding a VIP session for each time slot - which includes a 45 minute Prosecco Masterclass with the Prosecco Queen, Melissa Brauer, where guests will taste 4 different styles Prosecco paired with antipasto snacks and cheese. (I've had the fortune to attend a Prosecco Queen Masterclass and it's top notch!).
Please note that wines by the glass will be available via a token system, each token is worth $10 and can be purchased on the way in.
Some highlights:
-Taste over 40 Proseccos
-Indulge in 400 Gradi, Milk the Cow and more!
-Date: Saturday 23rd Feb
-Two sessions: 110:00am - 3:00pm and 4:00pm - 8:00pm

Prosecco is a perfect refreshing wine to be enjoyed all year long and is extremely popular in Italy (and in Australia).
