Bottomless Brunch at Le Bon Ton
Le Bon Ton the BBQ king in Collingwood offers a Bottomless Brunch package Southern Style and The World Loves Melbourne was invited along for the experience (three hour session). Just choose a dish from the brunch menu and enjoy bottomless cocktails from a choice of 3 cocktails.A great deal to be imbibed across the Melbourne summer. For an afternoon of fun (we went to the 2pm session so it was more bottomless lunch) this is a great way to go, available across the summer.
Four Pillars Red Snapper.
The venue was buzzing on a Saturday afternoon at our 2pm sitting (choose from 12,1,2pm sittings). Several large groups were enjoying themselves and other groups from previous sittings had made their way to the garden section. We sampled a number of the dishes and can vouch for delicious food and smart cocktails. There's generosity here; staff working hard to keep everyone happy.
Smoked Brisket Breakfast burrito is a sensation.
Cocktails include the Mimosa, the Four Pillars Red Snapper (my favourite with some kick, think Bloody Mary with gin instead of vodka) and the Hurricane cocktail featuring rum.
Hurricane with rum.
The Smoked Brisket Burrito was a revelation and my favourite dish, introducing me to BBQ for brunch, something I could get used to. The melt in your mouth pit smoked brisket in a burrito soft flour tortilla wrap with glorious scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, tomatillo salsa, cheddar cheese hit all the right notes.
We departed from the Bottomless Brunch for a moment for the legendary Le Bon Ton Mac n Cheese made with 3 cheeses. We washed this down with a Blue Moon beer (also not part of the Bottomless Brunch menu).
The Le Bon Ton Cheeseburger is also excellent featuring a solid juicy Wagyu beef patty (we notcied this was popular across the tables).
Another highlight is the Chicken wings which are delightfully smoked with cayenne pepper sauce. Large smoky chicken wings succulent and rewarding are also super popular at the Bottomless Brunch.
Fried “Buffalo” chicken Sandwich is rewarding but I preferred the brisket burrito, chicken wings and the cheeseburger.
This was a fun thing to do, poluar with locals and beyond, and a great way to connect with friends.
