Citi Taste of Melbourne is back in Melbourne as one of the highlights of the Australian Open featuring Aussie Tennis Legend Pat Cash and Elite Tennis Pros. We enjoyed an Exclusive Culinary Experience at The Plaza Ballroom that made us proud of our city and it's talent, as well as get pumped for the Australian Open. Kudos to the organisers for a fabulous event.

As a premier lifestyle event on the tennis tour, Citi Taste of Tennis offered foodies and tennis fans an evening of signature cuisine prepared by top chefs paired with some of the world’s best tennis players. Guests enjoyed an unforgettable evening sampling fine food, sipping signature cocktails and fine wines, and mingling with their favourite tennis players such asGael Monfils, Elina Svitolina, Matteo Berrettini, Ajla Tomljanovic, Danielle Collins, Borna Coric, Miomir Kecmanović.

Alejandro Saravia from Pastuso created a hit with his Apollo Bay Rock Lobster on Peruvian-style brioche.
Lucy Liu chefs working wonders with betel leaf offerings.
Chef David Ricardo from Plaza Ballroom with amazing Cured Spencer Gulf Hiramasa Kingfish.
Grand Slam Macrons and Pavlova with berries and cream by Chef Tim Clark were another standout.
Brewhaha Kombucha was flowing.
Chef Ian Curley stepped up with delicious Yarra Valley Salmon Caviar with smoked cods roe on warm potato blinis, as well as a fabulous homemade calzone.
Along with great music, the event featured an exciting cooking demonstration with Venus Williams, past Citi Taste of Tennis players and chefs, and a number of other surprises.
