Hofbrauhaus Melbourne taking Bavarian to the Burbs
Hofbrauhaus Melbourne is open and has just extended its delivery service and we were invited to sample a Bavaria at Home Box. The Family Weekend Feast is an outstanding taste of Bavaria delivered to your door, and we enjoyed every element of this German offering. This was a tasty, great value feasting option delivered to your door.
You can now get their famous Bavarian classic dishes and other German inspired meals to your home in the South Eastern Suburbs from their new Caulfield pop-up store.
Homemade sourdough is first class. Perfect crust and "chew", along with outstanding flavour.
Good news. Hofbrauhaus Ready to Eat Menu, is available for delivery within 7kms of Caulfield Racecourse, featuring Bavarian classics such as sausage, roast pork knuckle, schnitzel, and kassler. Equally as delicious, maybe not so well known, are their schufnudeln (German gnocchi), and kasespatzle (cheesy pasta), available with sides of sauerkraut, mash and gravy, and their famous pretzels and homemade sourdough.
Finish with a delicious dessert of apple strudel, bread pudding, or shoko kuchen (chocolate cake)! Just like oma used make!
Bavaria at Home is highly recommended. Pork knuckle was the star attraction with stunning sides.
Really want to impress the family? Treat them to a home cooked Bavarian meal off their Bavaria at Home Menu (CBD +20kms)! They prepare it, you finish it, cooking instructions and tips provided!
We were sent a Bavaria at Home Weekend Feast to experience and we were highly impressed. It was just a matter of slow roasting the pork knuckle in the oven before turning up the heat, to produce the perfect colour and crackling.
Check out the crackle on the pork knuckle along with creamy mash and Sauerkraut.

The family was blown away with the pork knuckle, along with the mixed German sausages and the sides. this was a true feast indeed, more than enough for the hungry family of 4 of us. Such a rewarding feast and highly recommended to your door. The cooking instructions are on their website and their step by step instructions make the process fun and enjoyable.
Compared to other delivery options we have experienced from other restaurants, this was right up there in terms of taste, variety and bang for buck. We had food leftover fom our feast.
Serve up roast pork knuckle with all the sides, bread and dessert. Of course you truly couldn’t get your Bavarian on without sampling one of their fully imported German biers which can also be included!
Tailored packs are available for single households, couples and families. Order for one day or for the whole weekend. They have rotating weekly menus for you to choose from. Besides food you can also order wine and fully imported bier selection. A free bottle of wine is offered with all orders of $150 and more.
