PIPER-HEIDSIECK at The Australian Open 2022
Tennis fans and champagne lovers alike can enjoy a glass of cuvée poured at the Piper-Heidsieck Champagne Bar located on Rod Laver Arena Terrace, as well as at licensed outlets across the precinct including the Beach House and The Atrium. Piper-Heidsieck Crew Ambassadors include Miss Universe Australia 2020 Maria Thattil and Actress and Model Olympia Valance.
The Champagne Bar designed by Creative Director, Christian Wagstaff, will bring a taste of European elegance and a Parisian café flare to Melbourne with a large-scale native exotic flora installation commissioned by renowned floral artist, Katie Marx.
As Melbourne gears up for a sizzling tournament, the Piper-Heidsieck Champagne Bar will be the hottest spot to share a crisp bottle of Piper-Heidsieck Essentiel Extra Brut champagne while cheering on the world-class tennis action at the 2022 Australian Open.
To celebrate Melbourne and showcase heroes of a different kind, the Piper-Heidsieck Champagne Bar will act as a stage throughout the tournament for emerging musicians, singers, performances, dancers and artists who have been deprived of their creative outlet for over 18-months.
Aptly named the “Uncorked Piper Crew”, each performance will shine the spotlight on some of Melbourne’s brightest up and coming talent while helping Melbourne reclaim its title as one of the most liveable and culturally vibrant cities in the world.
The Uncorked Piper Crew who will perform at the Piper-Heidsieck Champagne Bar include hip-hop dancer Dagogo Obogo, saxophonist Ash James, ballerina Kealy Fouracre, mural and oil painter Katherine Gailer, drag artist Valerie Hex, violinist Justin Bailey and street artists Shannon Lamden and Yasmin Frazzetto.
