High Class Japanese BBQ feast at Tetsujin in Emporium Melbourne experiencing their new menu launch.
We experienced (David and Paul) -
✨Sashimi Set (stunningly presented fresh high quality sashimi)
✨Wagyu Platter (the best of Wagyu in 3 different ways)
Then we grabbed our tongs and cooked our Japanese BBQ -
✨Wagyu Karubi Tasting Set (high class Wagyu experience)
- A5 Nagasaki Wagyu
- MB9 + Wagu Karubi
- Wagyu Thick 9+ Karubi (we noted this was the thick version and so rewarding)
- Wagyu Ox Tongue (extremely popular)
Plus vegetables including pumpkin, zucchini and (my favourite) enoki mushrooms.
✨Dessert -
Chocolate Fondant, Yuzu ice cream and freeze dried summer fruits (sophisticated seasonal dessert)
✨Signature cocktails
- Nihon Gin (excellent gin cocktail)
- Maiko Martini (fun quality cocktail with lychee)
-Dry Hakutsuru Sake (paired perfectly with bbq food)
This was Japanese BBQ at its best with the highlight being “all things wagyu” as well as outstanding sashimi, delicious innovative cocktails and sake, and excellent service.
We also loved the bbq ox tongue and the impressive dessert.
Tetsujin features a sushi train section as well as the Japanese BBQ section for a day and night restaurant offering.
