Marnong Estate – the hidden gem of the North – is hiding no more as the 1200 acre working farm, vineyard and dining haven, opens its doors to celebrate the ‘Race that stops the Nation’.
The Estate’s executive chef, Greg Feck, has designed an all-inclusive grazing menu that’s sure to be a crowd favourite! There’ll be just-shucked oysters; Wagyu cheeseburger slider station; a New York-style hot dog stand with all the trimmings; mushroom arancini with aioli; Marnong Estate’s version of the prawn cocktail, in a soft potato roll with classic Marie Rose sauce and a playful Cannoli bike where guests can treat themselves to a selection of freshly handmade cannoli.
Bottomless bubbles with a choice of Prosecco or Champagne are the perfect way to upgrade the elegant garden party experience, with Lyre’s available for delicious non-alc options.
Guests will have exclusive access to Marnong Estate spaces that are normally reserved for private events, and in such a striking landscape, forget a photo finish, as there’ll be countless picture opportunities to enhance the celebrations.
Live entertainment by The Jay Factor will warm up the party-goers before they move to The Green Grove to watch the race!
There’ll be a chance to celebrate the fashion, too, as the first 50 people to enter, will have a chance to strut the catwalk for fantastic prizes in our Fashions on the Field competition.
The Estate is also proud of its association with a well-cared for ex-Racing Champion racehorses through Living Legends and are thrilled that a horse will visit the estate on the day.
Located just 35 minutes from Melbourne’s CBD, Marnong Estate offers free onsite parking and a tranquil escape from the city’s traffic.
