TWILIGHT JAZZ FESTIVAL 2017
at Cruden Farm, Mornington Peninsula
Saturday 18 February 2017
4pm – 8pm
McClelland is delighted that Derek Guille, renowned broadcaster, author and musician has agreed to curate and MC what promises to be a very special event featuring two of Melbourne’s finest jazz groups The Pearly Shells and Ultrafox (featuring Julie O’Hara) along with one of our favourites in The Frankston High School Senior Stage Band, directed by Leon de Bruin. The food element, by McClelland’s Food Curator, Hilary McNevin is staying true to Jazz’s roots with food inspired by the USA. Burn City Smokers will offer US-style barbecue and Juan Diddy Gourmet Hot Dogs will provide Kransky sausages from Collingwood’s MeatSmith in fresh brioche buns with a selection of fillings.
Iain Ling from Carlton’s The Hotel Lincoln is providing the beer - The Lincoln’s own Special Bitter - and spirits, and wines are from Mornington Peninsula’s Elgee Park.
Guests can bring their own picnic basket, rug, table and chairs - or indulge in barbecue and hot dogs, tea and coffee - sit back, enjoy and dance to the very best of music in the extraordinary ambiance and surrounds of the rose gardens at Cruden Farm or bid on silent auction items sponsored by local supporters.
