The Wild Olive Early Harvest is a deliciously smooth golden oil with a distinctive smoky flavour and packed with natural antioxidants occurring at higher levels than other premium brands on the Australian market. Awarded the “Gold Standard of Excellence”, the early harvest is bottled from the fruit of century-old Greek olive trees growing in the remote mountains of Southern Greece.
Laconia in Southern Greece is known for producing the most nutrient-rich olives in the world, creating olive oils that are core to the Mediterranean diet and delightfully enhance salads, cooked meats and fresh produce while delivering maximum health value. “The health benefits of early harvest olive oil can be traced back 4000 years to Ancient Greece when people used this liquid gold daily for a happy and healthy life, however it is important to understand that no two oils are the same,” said The Wild Olive founder, Evan Karavitis. “Here at The Wild Olive, we are committed to engaging with producers who are committed to delivering the best quality Early Harvest Olive oil through their experience and passion,” Karavitis explained.

“The Wild Olive Early Harvest Olive Oil uses unripen olives harvested early in the season. Unripen olives are known to produce the highest levels of healthy antioxidants, delivered in a deliciously fruity yet bitter after taste often a sign of a high-quality oil. Early harvesting is not a normal practice in Australia.” “The Wild Olive uses early harvest olives. These are not readily available in Australia and are known to produce the highest levels of healthy antioxidants, delivered in a deliciously fruity and smooth finish.” “This means Early Harvest is perfect to drizzle over salads, crusty bread and fresh produce when dining with friends,” said Mr Karavitis.

Homemade Baklava was a sensational dessert to end our feasting celebration.
