Feed Me Dinner at Post Office Club Hotel
Good times at iconic Post Office Club Hotel in St Kilda, for a delicious and classy dining experience featuring elevated but approachable dishes with European influences.
This pub has been kicking goals for a long time and is super popular with locals. Chef Henny has been delivering on new flavours. We were invited along to experience the new seasonal menu on a balmy summer's night in St Kilda.
We enjoyed (David and Mario) a superb “feed me” menu -
✨Hampton’s Bread with miso brown butter (great start)
✨Tomatoes and burrata (seasonal and summery)
✨Heirloom Beetroot, Goats Curd, Pistachio (also delicious, seasonal and gluten free)
✨Cured Kingfish, dashi milk, fennel (a classic)
✨Steak frites (perfectly cooked Rump and Cafe de Paris butter)
✨Roasted Chicken, romesco, chimichurri (succulent chicken and vibrant sauce)
✨Farm Lettuce Salad (fresh quality produce)
✨Lemon Pie Choux Bun (showstopper)
✨Crème Brûlée (top notch version of a classic)
✨Negroni
✨La Galope Malbec
✨Amaro Montenegro
✨Espresso
Since 1871, The Post Office Club Hotel has been delivering an elevated hospitality experience that exudes a charming, timeless and welcoming ambiance. We sat in the front section by the window as the sun was setting which was sensational.
With a seasonally changing restaurant menu that takes cues from across Europe and the Mediterranean, diners are treated to mixed-heritage flavours, using only the highest quality produce. Service by Ben was top notch and engaging.
