Grilled Sweet Potato topped with Caramel Pudding is a house specialty dessert, featuring charcoal-grilled sweet potatoes filled with creamy Japanese pudding, drizzled with custard sauce and brûléed for texture and crunch.

Paying homage to high-end Yakiniku restaurants across Japan, and a unique chance to enjoy omakase techniques in a more casual setting.

Yaki Nau’s interiors reflect the vision of director Shammi Liang, blending traditional Japanese design elements with Melbourne’s contemporary style.

All cuts are supplied by Blackmore Wagyu Beef, a producer known for its exceptional marbling and melt-in-your-mouth texture. Top-tier cuts - including M9 Wagyu which is a showstopper - are prepared with expert techniques to highlight their rich flavour and unmatched texture.

With an equally impressive drinks program, the cocktail list is diverse and lively. Designed to be tactile and fun, epitomised in Yaki Nau’s signature drink; the Sake Bomb. Guests can also explore a small but mighty selection of premium small-producer sakes and imported beers.
