Modern Stylish 45 Degrees Pizza on Bridge Road
A new pizza house on Bridge Road Richmond is making a big impression.
We're not sure how 45 degrees pizza got it's name, but its a delightful restaurant serving up pizza varieties with a modern twist. Sure you can order the traditional favourites of Margarita or Capricciosa, for example, but we recommend the unique modern toppings that are snap shots of Melbourne. These include Vietnamese Pork, Southern BBQ, Beef Cheek, Cheeseburger, Peruvian chicken and Kale beetroot, to name a few. Premium quality pizza with an urban attitude. The World Loves Melbourne was invited along to experience this modern pizza establishment.
The design is chic with the owners adding their own touch once the professional fit out was in place. Large windows overlook trendy Bridge Rd while a large open kitchen is central to the main dining area.
Pizza toppings excite such as Vietnamese Pork with five spice pork, Spanish onion, roasted red capsicum, fresh herbs, pickled carrots, cucumber, sliced chilli, and aoli. The Vietnamese flavours shone through and we found the pizza surprisingly filling. The kick of the chilli was welcome. All meats are prepared and cooked on the premises. All pizzas are topped with mozzarella cheese. Gluten free pizza bases are also available.
Southern BBQ is also a popular and superb pizza featuring Peruvian chicken, beef cheek, smoked ham, caramelised onion, roasted red capsicum, jalapeno, mustard aoli, and crispy onion rings. With the BBQ trend in Melbourne, this is a clever and rewarding pizza.
Extras include golden chips and tasty popcorn chicken.
Garlic bread was served hot in foil in a basket and was top notch.
Mexican soft drinks and beer were the order of the day.
Well done to George, Harley and the team at 45 Degrees Pizza in creating a modern imaginative pizza house. Harley was an exceptional host on the night. Get on it!
