So Frenchy So Chic Loves Melbourne
So Frenchy So Chic at Werribee Park Mansion is a must visit event on the Melbourne calendar and The World Loves Melboure enjoyed fabulous VIP hospitality with Renault Australia. The event is coming this weekend to Sydney on Jan 16 at St John's College!
The atmosphere of So Frenchy So Chic is unique in Melbourne. We enjoyed joie de vivre in spades! On a perfect Melbourne summers day we imbibed French culture and style "where France meets Oz"... With the warm weather we were grateful for the many umbrellas. More than any other Festival we've been to, this is a style party. People are encouraged to dress up a little more with statement sunglasses, hats and to dress with classic simplicity and style like the French.
The World Loves Melbourne was handed a floral garland when we arrived...
Chauffeured to the event in the Renault Captur was stylish and we enjoy the fashionable shape and features of the Renault Captur.
With picnic rugs, chic chairs, straw bales, floral arrangements, French farmhouse props, turf and picket fence, the Renault VIP area was the place to be...
A giant party, a perfect picnic and a day to remember surrounded by friends, music, food, wine and chic ambience. A large crowd danced on the grass to Hindi Zahra, Brigitte, Lou Doillon and Soviet Suprem. A highlight for The World Loves Melbourne was the sheer quality of entertainment on the "Spread the Love" large stage with standout bands from a top notch line up thrilling the crowd all day. The enthusiastic crowd was moving and dancing, and in rapturous applause throughout.
The Laurent Perrier was flowing, along with French wines. Hampers were provided to us in the Renault VIP area with fresh baguettes, French style salad and French cakes.
Flower garlands were the perfect accessory for the afternoon; and we wore one on top of the panama.
A large cheese hamper featuring Ile de France cheeses was superb including Ile de France Brie, Ile de France Brie au Bleu, Ile de France Chevre Bresse Bleu accompanied by Spiced pear & raisin relish, Flame grapes, summer strawberries and Epi loaves and lavosh. Magnifique!
The many food stalls kept the crowd well fuelled and in good cheer. The World Loves Melbourne noticed the large number of families at the event. A festival for everyone with children under 12 admitted for free.
Not just food and alcohol there is the entertainment, face painting, puppet shows, pétanque and croquet.
Thanks to Renault Australia and Soda Communications for a fabulous day!
