Morena Melbourne offers two innovative Latin American dining experiences; Morena Restaurant and Morena Barra, located side by side at 71 Little Collins Street and I was privileged to experience both!

Morena Barra offers an all-day dining experience inspired by the lively and vibrant cantinas found throughout Latin America. Diners here can choose from both à la carte and chef’s selection menus. Cantina style, loud and fun! Check out the Morena Barra experience above and also pics below.

Morena Restaurant offers a more formal dining experience focusing on high end ingredients and takes diners on a journey through Latin America across two levels, including a balcony seating area overlooking Little Collins Street. We enjoyed superb unique dining with bold flavours and vibrant dishes, that was a touch of class all the way!

Highlight dishes include: Braised Andean ollucos, smoked oca cream and preserved oca; Coral trout tiradito, aji amarillo kosho and fermented mandarin emulsion; Seared Marlin ceviche with tamarillo coconut tiger’s milk, aji panca oil; Grilled grouper loin, squid and octopus stew, prawn dashi; and a Suckling goat, aged mole, morita chilli salsa, nasturtium.
